Using the app
What features are available in Pulmonary Scan?
Pulmonary Scan 1.2.0 includes the Sober Counter with Delete All Tracking Data, Money estimates, the Personal Use Tracker for daily cigarette and vaping-session counts, Body Map education, COPD & Lung Health with six educational topics and CDC/NIH sources, three offline PulmoDaily educational articles, and six Effects of Vaping educational resources, including FDA and CDC resources.
How does the sobriety tracker work?
Record your sobriety progress. In Money, enter estimated daily spending in US dollars to view estimated savings and a 365-day projection. These are estimates based on your assumptions, not verified financial savings. Tracking is a personal tool, not medical care or a diagnosis. This website does not collect or display your tracking details.
Where is my sobriety tracking information stored?
Sobriety tracking information is stored locally using AsyncStorage. See the App Privacy Policy for data handling, technical processing, storage, and deletion limitations.
Does the app provide medical advice or a diagnosis?
Pulmonary Scan provides educational content and personal tracking. It should not be treated as medical advice, a diagnosis, or a replacement for care from a qualified professional.
Availability
What is COPD & Lung Health?
COPD & Lung Health replaces the former COPD Screening Test with six educational topics and CDC/NIH sources. It is education, not clinical COPD screening, a validated questionnaire, a risk score, diagnosis, breathing or lung-function measurement, medical treatment, or a medication recommendation.
What changed for PulmoDaily and Change Drug Dosage?
PulmoDaily now provides three original offline educational articles; it is not a live blog or a recovered original archive. Change Drug Dosage has been replaced by the Personal Use Tracker, which records daily cigarette and vaping-session counts. It does not calculate nicotine or medication doses, diagnose conditions, or provide medication recommendations.
Which Settings features are implemented?
The Pulmonary Scan 1.2.0 Settings implementation includes Contact Support, which opens mailto:support@pulmonaryscan.app and provides a visible, selectable email-address fallback; Privacy Policy, which opens https://pulmonaryscan.app/privacy/; the Personal Use Tracker, which replaces Change Drug Dosage; and the approved Sources section. No medication dosage calculator is offered. The operator reports that version 1.1.2 has been installed and tested on a physical iPhone 16, with the installed version confirmed in Settings → General → iPhone Storage. Initial launch, Home and navigation, Sober Counter, Personal Use Tracker, saved-data persistence after reopening, offline functionality, and Settings tests passed. These results do not establish that every privacy behavior, SDK or native-library network request, backup behavior, iPad behavior, or deletion or post-deletion storage scenario has been verified. These historical test results concern version 1.1.2 and do not verify version 1.2.0. See the App Privacy Policy for its version-specific scope.
